Most hotels in Uzbekistan can be divided into 3 catgories:
- High class hotels (4 and 5 star);
- Middle class hotels (3 star)
- Bed and Breakfasts;
For those who want all the comfort and extra amenities, no doubt the high class hotels would be best choce in Uzbekistan. Although one has to keep in mind that European and North American standards of luxury hotel may be different than those of Uzbekistan hotels. And very little one will experience as for national atmosphere inside these hotels.
Middle class hotels offer nice combination of price and accommodation for moderately budgeted people. Many hotels advertise as being 3 stars which is in a great question.
For backpackers, budget travelers and even for not bargain hunters bed and breakfast sector of hotels offers a wide and very broad range of places to stay. From boutiques till guesthouses built with true and national feel of Uzbek architecture one will truly appreciate the fullness of visiting Uzbekistan.
